This is why I strongly prefer playing ET harps. Chords that fit are not available in all positions. But, unless one is playing blues or certain kinds of rock, the chords available on a Richter tuned diatonic harmonica often don't work well on a wide variety of material anyway, even in First, Second or Third positions. But, as you say, different strokes for different folks........

But I rarely play anything on a diatonic in any other than 1st 2nd or 3rd position, and my harps are optimised tuning wise for chords in 2nd position...
